A portrait of Rosa Parks was installed at the Roasterie Coffee House / Minglement on Vashon.
Island kids and friends helped to tell the story of Rosa Parks in a short interactive video, linked below.

In partnership with Vashon Center for the Arts, three portraits of American icons, Fred Hampton, Ida B. Wells, and Bayard Rustin (l-r) were installed in the large windows of the Center. Along with the portraits, biographies of the three can be read by following the below link.
